Dr. Frank P. DiChiara is a board certified physician who now focuses solely on Maharishi AyurVeda. He received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and practiced Family Medicine for 40 years in New Jersey.
Dr. DiChiara has extensive experience, knowledge, and training in both Maharishi AyurVeda and western medicine. He was trained as a Maharishi Ayurvedic physician beginning in the 1980s at Maharishi Ayurvedic University and other Maharishi Ayurvedic facilities in the United States. He has continued to utilize this training in helping patients towards optimal health since that time. He is the former Medical Director of the Chronic Disease Program at the Maharishi AyurVeda University in Asbury Park, NJ and the former Ayurvedic Consultant for the New York City Transcendental MeditationTM Center.
Dr. DiChiara is a certified teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Practice and is the Director of the Naples/Fort Myers Transcendental Meditation Program. He continues to actively teach the Transcendental Meditation technique.
During his time in family practice in NJ, Dr. DiChiara served as the Director of the Department of Medicine, Member of the Medical Executive Committee, Chairman of the Emergency Department Oversight Committee, and Senior Attending Physician at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. He now resides in Marco Island, Florida.
